Ok... I've had my triad. I actually signed an internet petition against the sequel, though I doubt ALW really cares. He just wants more money and fame. If he wasn't working with Forsythe, us Phans would probably be a little more receptive to a sequel. I've read many Phanfictions chronicling Erik's live after the play, some of which were very good. I never read PoM, though I've heard all those terrible things you've listed here. Did you read it?

Yeah,I bought it online.Worst three bucks I ever spent! It was abominable and stupid and made no sense and on top of all that, was just plain poorly written.
At one point,a main charecter has a convorsation with Jesus. And at another,Erik starts speaking in rhyme during his narrative!I swear to bob if ALW turns that into a song,I will beat his British ass.
And why the hell would Erik write an opera in English about the American civil war?!
*le fume*
They aren't seriously making a sequel?
